well I always like new functionality , but please use a compressed format not some uncompressed format that take some gb of space for each min of the capture, please .

    That would be fantastic.

    Just a couple of suggestions...

    1. Frame rate lock
    2. Half resolution capture
    3. Ability to record compressed formats as well as Raw video.

Don't leave out raw capture, as some systems are not powerful enough to capture and compress at a useable frame rate.

This would just make AB better than it already is.

Is that possible add D3D feature level states OSD support ? Some game ( for example: civilization v) use D3D 11 LV 4.x on D3D 10.x boards, but MSI afterburner just show the framerate as D3D 11, that will confused sometimes.

How about a profiling and suggestions system? Will help save time experimenting with clock values. Like if a suggested core clock for 460 is 800mhz, then we can save time not trying values lower than that.

Sure. Right now I was experimenting with video capture engine having the following configurable things:

    1) Configurable framerate limit
    2) Configurable frame downsampling (i.e. ability to capture video in whole/half/quarter of frame resolution)
    3) Multithreaded compression using all CPUs in the system
    4) Both raw (lossless) and compressed (motion jpeg) video formats support. No third-party codec dependence during compression, no third-party codecs required to play captured videos.

The only thing that is out of scope now is audio capture, currently only video stream is captured.

However, I've not discussed the possibility of including it into MSI Afterburner with MSI yet, so I'm not sure if they will like to put it into the list of features.

Don't think that it worth the efforts, sorry. IMHO everything using DX11 API (regardless of used DX11 feature level) should be displayed as DX11.

Good news, it looks like MSI approved video capture feature development so I guess soon we'll release new beta with early experimental video capture implementation.

What I would like to see is that if you have several videocards that you can select which card to display in the main Afterburner Window.
Now I have to click at "Settings", select the card and then click at "OK". So this means two inconvenient mouseclicks more.

Hey guys, they're brand new cards obviously, but any word on improved support for R68x0 cards? I assume CHL8214 support needs to be implemented.

    Cheers :)

+1 to that, would be a very nice feature. Also if profiles saveslot could store setings for the 2gpus would be great too.

Thanks once again for all the goon and hard work :)

Sorry, forget about it. These things are way beyond the budget of any vendor's tweak tool.

Have you tried reading RT's help doc?

Have you read the stickie guide post in RT forum?

Have you tried reading RT's context help?

If not, answers may be in those.

Hey Unwinder, i just wanted to bump my six months old feature request for OSD support for 64bit apps.

Any plans to add this, and if yes, do you have any ETA?

Once again, no. There are no plans to develop a separate application with totally different hooking system because of 0.5% of 64-bit applications existing on the market. Forget about it during the nearest years.

I am loving the video recording feature, and everything for that matter, so thank you. I would like to suggest maybe allowing the prntscrn button to be allowed as a hotkey. I would really like to use it for screenshots.

    Thanks Again.
