Tarkan, nice to see another neo plat with a 6800gt. I'm surprised you had any improvement at all. I might try on mine, but I had bad luck with anything over the 8x.xx series (very slow).

If this is true shouldn't these drivers be more widespread by now? It also seems to me that if they come with the GFX cards, they should possibly be on one of the manufacturers sites?

But that said.... Please let there be Vista x64 drivers!!!

And big ups to all you guys who uploaded and are hosting!

Just tried Stalker and it crashed with rainbow graphics corruption. I'll try again to see if it was just a fluke.

**sigh** ..... Vista..... sweet Vista.... when will we see these drivers?... **deeper sigh**

Aw, well, for Vista Ultimate x86, 101.70 (Guru3d's and not Microsoft's) works great for me, with a few major annoyances (can't resize HDTV to compensate for overscan? Settings not loading up properly from Nvidia profile files? hello?)

Patience is a virtue, but I wish they'd hurry. :help:

    Thanks for hosting these folks.

Not magic, but not bad results either.

    Stalker now crashes on boot.

get the following error XRay Engine

    XR_3DA.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CTDPROXY.DLL" at 001B:02D1AB04

Edit: Not looking good. Ghost Recon AW won't boot either.

Can we get some confirmation from the original uploader on this? Or do we not know who that is? If not than I will cry.

An update, been running Stalker for over 30 minutes now with no crashes. Performance is up a bit too, but nothing amazing. I'm assuming it was nhancer that caused the crash, maybe a clash with the driver settings or something.

My previous drivers were XtremeG 101.02

    3DMark06

    SM2.0 5333
    HDR/SM3.0 5273
    CPU Score 5116

    Total 13185.

Thought the XG were pretty good drivers, but these latest are an improvement.

Regards Games crashing at boot, I believe this is to do with X-FI drivers. Will uninstall, driveclean and install the bare minimum. Should fix it fingers crossed.

That article should clear up your question. Its pretty much the "class" of video card, or what core it is.
