Hopefully a quick question and its a normal thing but when running the Heaven Benchmark it reports my memory frequency as 3252, which is about half of what it should be. Should I be worried about a bad card or do programs tend to report memory a bit different than I'm expecting? Core reports fine, its just the memory that is escaping me. If I need to give any more info let me know, just finally popped this sucker in after a PSU upgrade and am dreading a bad card bid.... I'm a bit out of my league when it comes to knowledge about these things:bang:
DDR5 is quad pumped frequency wise. The base frequency on a stock 780 is 1502Mhz. Many benchmarks and programs report the "actual" frequency as 3504Mhz (Or higher depending on factory clocks). But the real "actual" frequency is 6008Mhz. Confusing, I know. But your card is working completely normally.
