if u use adobe, get a cuda gpu, gtx470 is the cheapest i think and will work fine already, anything above that will be good, dont get ati u need lot of ram for pre-render, mostly for AE, it can be very ram hungry and the idea of 3 HDs u mention earlier is the best way to go, u are right. i actually build that same kind of rig right now, but i'll need more time/money to get all that. for now i got the gpu gtx470, the revodrive for system and sata3 HD (will need to buy more of these later)
the power supply like others have said is crap, i would send it back and get a different psu like the corsair that was linked, i would not even keep it as a backup. the 470 is a gaming gpu but there is nothing different between the quadros and the gtxs, they use the same stuff only difference is the bios and i am sure you could get a quadro bios and flash it to quadro,
Thing is that animation is quite parallelized, I might not agree w/ the Quadro, but the hexacore was justified since video editing software (professional ones) are quite multithreaded and could take advantage of those 6 cores. deltatux
