    Hello,

I'm playing around with Plex for the first time. The video quality on my 2014 integrated i7 actually seems OK. (no dedicated video card) The best I can do for audio is multichannel though when playing newer 4K movies. My Oppo to my preamp would say (on the preamp) - Dolby Atmos or DTS X or whatever the audio format was. Anyone here have a plex and a good video card?

In another thread someone mentioned getting an intel with an SGX extension - not sure if I need that in combination with a newer card or if I was just using the on board video.

Anything you can do to help me get my facts straight would be great.

I was being a dork. In Plex, I needed to go to settings, HDMI, Surround, 5.1 and enable pass through for all the codecs.
