    3D Mark 03 => 7246
    3D Mark 05 => 2921

    I wasn't totaly satisfied with the performance and thaught my CPU and RAM was bottlenecking but seeying most scores here I think I should be happy with it

    I have upgraded from a GF 3 Ti 500 wich is a very good card, was memory clocked @ 565 (default 500)

    Joint Operations ran like crap tho with the GF 3, but now all smooth so I'm happy with that

    Here's a url to compare score for those interested

    With 75.90 powered I got some really nice scores.
    My AthlonXP 2500+ is locked so the highest FSB possible is 408 MHz so far goes memory too.
    @3200+@2245 MHz@1,8V and memory @2,5-3-3-7@2,9V (max voltage that Epox 8RDA3+ supports) ends up in results:

    3DMark05 - 4077 points

    3DMark03 - 9041 points

    3DMark01SE - 16351 points

    My 6600GT isn't volt-modded, and a bit crappy one, therefore max core I pushed was 602 MHz (no artifacts) and mem 1140 MHz. Not exactly the highest possible around here :)

    Probably after pencil-trick I get better scores.
    Anyway, I am satisfied.

    Btw links are in signature.

    Is this OK????

    I ran 3DMark05 today for the first time, and got a score of 6011. *sigh* I'm rather a newbie with this benchmarking stuff, and I honestly don't know if that is good or bad :( (specially after having spent money on an extra card... while my brother-in-law eagerly awaits my results, probably to gloat and insinuate how stupid I was for doing so). I'd appreciate if someone could comment on this.

    Also, what's up with all those other 3Dmark versions with such markedly different scores I've seen posted here and elsewhere? I find that confusing. :p

    I got two (non-overclocked) Chaintech GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR PCI Express cards in SLI mode, using the 75.90 Forceware beta. Anything else I need to mention?

    My scores change every so often. It's kinda weird.

    I am happy now I scored well after OC of course vid: 550/1100 RAM: 2.5-3-2-6 going to change to 2-3-2-6 @ 2.7v CPU: AMD 64 3700+ from 2.41ghz to 2.64ghz @ 1.675v running under load 55c with a Thermaltake venus 12.... Before I post a screeny of my score do any of you know what and if worth oc the AGP in the bios (it is set to 66mhz atm)

    I wouldn't change AGP freq, just leave it as it is - 66 MHz.

    If you really want to push your card to limit, raise AGP volts in BIOS and volt-mod would get you even higher results.
    I think you should make over 4 k easily in 3DM05 considering your system.

    Well...

    Seeing that most people with only one card are getting scores of +/- 3000 to 4000 on 3dmark05 as a norm, I guess that kind of answers my previous question on whether having two of them in SLI made any difference...

    Initially, I saw a few posts from people with only one card reporting scores above 6000, which prompted me to post my original question. I assume those people have overclocked systems or something then. I'm reluctant to overclock my rig since I not only use it for gaming, but to do work (so at present I don't have the luxury of tweaking the system and risk damaging it)... oh well...

    I am using drivers 71.84... But thats the prob I was getting with normal clock every thing 2900 there is a bottle neck in these K8n-E Deluxe I bet my left testicle on it cause I see alot of peeps having lower scores with this board also complaining about not getting as good performance as others....

    Still waiting to finish my convo with asus to find a fix...

    I have heard something about those mobos having shi**y bios. Haven't you updated it?
    Anyway there's no way your system's getting so low results unless it has some serious issues. did you check all possible causes like Fast Writes (on/off), all sorts of drivers, proper system files etc. Some people have reinstalled Win and formatted HDD to solve this.

    Then again it's reported and known that some 6600GT's have serious problems and get amazingly low scores. Like 6k in 3DM03...:eek:
