IMO that bad idea if you want to do that get your self a LCD TV/Moniter
Sending any video from computer to tv using Composite/S-video is pretty much crap but that just my opinion

Ggping64, from what I know a regular TV can only do 800x600 @ 50 Hz not good for gaming. Plus you gonna hurt your eyes sitting so close to a TV.

I gotta agree with these guys - I hook my PC up to my 28" TV and the quality is poor compared to my 17" LCD. I wouldnt event consider it for games in comparison!

Its ok for watching films etc though, but not gaming

I also tried gaming on my 25" tv, but the resolution is very low and lots of things aren't very clear. I feel that it is a bit blurry, it's hard to play and annoying...
I also can't read almost anything. It is blurry that the text with small fonts can't be read. I have to use the windows magnifier...

I tested playing my 32" wide and its not fun at all... Some console type games plays well but no way any strategy games that has small text..

if you have a walmart near where you live i would recommend you check out some of their new LCD's. They have a HDTV LCD 27" widescreen made by Ilo which looks really nice for $800. Also they have a Sanyo HDTV LCD 23" widescreen for $600. Both can be used as monitors with good screen resolution.
