I already completed it but thanks for the suggestions.
I would just disable vsync and use frtc+freesync.
You certainly have a tearing problem again when adaptive vsync is disabling vsync if you fell below 60fps or your refresh rate..
You, but he couldnt with nvidia.
I see, I somehow thought he meant you couldn't disable in-game vsync. I need to stop visiting this place when tired lol
This game has more story in the opening 30 minutes than AC: Odyssey has in its opening 5 hours.
I'm playing both simultaneously; although Plague more as the story is much shorter.
Finally got to finish the game, played the whole game in 21:9 3440x1440 .It just a fantastic beautiful game that was a joy to play and finish.Steam says 21 hours to complete, went by to fast.
This game has a demo now which I tried but like people have said earlier, 4K is ridiculously taxing and one or several of the settings absolutely kills the GPU. The upside is that the picture looks very crisp in comparison to 3440x1440 which is quite blurry. On the other hand 3440x1440 (or 2560x1440 since the game doesn't support 21:9) runs miles better even with maxed settings.
About double buffering, for me it worked to run the game in borderless which eliminated that problem but instead introduced weird stuttering.
Just so happens I made a video when game was released.
