Been meaning to do this for a while. Now I have my Quest 2, I thought why not. Excuse the lazy ass beard
Unboxing (because it's a thing?):
Picked up some cool headphones due to the Quest 2's 'quest'ionable audio, with some bonus Half-Life Alyx gameplay (cos that's such a new game, right?)
AMD 5800X up to 5150Mhz boost
Yeah I heard they boost really well although if it exceeds 5 Ghz then it seems like the total core usage is lower (UE4 though it should be fairly scalable.) but with the curve balancing and PBO and eventually PBO2 next up it sounds like you can get some really good results from what I've read thus far what little is currently available until these features land in future bios updates.
And the default scaling is already incredibly good with the 5800 and 5900's hitting 4.7 to 4.9 and upwards of 5.1 when fewer cores are in use plus the boost in performance over the 3000 series and additional fixes and features on top of all that.
I agree and that is the way the AMD was envisioned to work from the start and now it is fixed only to get better with Agesa 184.108.40.206 and beyond.
Some 4K Ray Tracing Control with boost up to 5100Mhz
