This looks, from what I've seen, miles ahead of divinity. I want it now!
Pre-ordered this a couple of days ago (Hero edition) from ShopTo.net for £28 after seeing a video of it on YouTube. Looks very promising and I do enjoy RPGs so...
The only question is: how buggy is the game? It is from Obsidian after all!
Looking forward to it.
Has the backer keys been released yet?
Don't know, from watching the streams very briefly, everything seems to be working. then again, I've been dragging myself away from most of the content available online because I don't want to spoil it for myself. Looks really, really good. Kinda wish it was out already, seeing as I'm off today and tomorrow.
I tried a bit of the backer beta, combat seemed incredibly hard even on easy, got spammed by some constant lightning in the first fight.
Hopefully the full game eases into it a bit more
From what I've seen it's not hard at all. They must have changed things a bit here and there.
This is from offical forums...
whaaat? when was this posted? and where do I have to buy it from to get access to it if t hey release it today? Do you have a link to that thread btw?
Oh.... Probably not release for us peasants...
It is about backers and their keys...
Kotaku - We're Really Digging Pillars of Eternity
That image is absolutely gorgeous, this is the sort of style I want when buying a game. I'm sick of the badly done 3D for the sake of it, usually in brown.
I don't know if you've seen any of the gameplay vids on YT mate, or any of the streams, but the graphics in this are beautiful, it looks like they hand crafted every screen down to every blade of grass. Truly stunning.
i want this
See, that's a good brown! It's also only part of the game.
I'm trying to keep away from it as much as I can until release, but I've looked at a few things. It's just stunning, I had an argument about art style and 2D vs 3D awhile back, and this game perfectly shows my opinion of what a 'beautiful' game really is. I've never been impressed by the likes of Crysis, this is where it's at for me.
Yes, cant wait to exlplore that huge world..
Also lets see what will inXile make with - Torment: Tides of Numenera
Setting in Torment is crazy!
Seriously looking forward to that myself, it looks to be fantastic.
PSA: The Eternity website is undergoing maintenance for the time being. I wonder why that could be...
That Torment game looks great
