so i'm looking into a physx card... which self powered card would be good at processing physx ?

    or maximum 1 pci-ex 6 pin connector

    would GTS 220 work ?

just another quicky.... even tho the GTS 450 is over powered for physx.. its on special for the same price as a GT 430

would i see some improvement ?

    GT430 96 Cuda core vs GTS 450 192 cuda core ?

If it's the same price go for it!

Overkill or not does it really matter? lol no:)

But if your main card dies and your without it for a few days a gts450 would make a lot better backup card than a gt430!

just another way to look at it:)

yes and no... Theoretically yes I mean more power = more performance, but with something like physics you prolly wouldn't fully utilize a card like that until physics in games becomes more complicated. but like I said either way for the same price its prolly the better choice even if right now you dont need the extra power.

what you can do is create a fake display... right click on your desktop, click screen resolution, press detect, click on another display not detected (make sure its the one for the physx card, then where it says multiple displays, select try to connect anyway on :VGA

wow, thats what I get for reading.......................

AMD and Nvidia dont play nice together....................ditch the Nvidia card and get AMD.

I dont know what that will do to Physx but mixing cards without the right MOBO is a no no
