Photorealistic Crysis With Real Lifesis Mod

    cheers for those, i dont have an autoexec.cfg in my Crysis folder, could have been a 1.2 patch thing, ill apply the patch( after uninstalling the mod just in case )

    After you install Crysis, there won't be one, but the Real Lifesis mod should have placed one there. :confused:

    Anyhow. Just put them (only one at a time, of course :p) into the "C:\Crysis" folder. Also: don't change any graphic settings afterwards in the in-game menu, as those changes would overwrite the autoexec.cfg settings. :nerd:

    tried it no joy, me thinks ill get more fun out of the Q9550 @ 3.8Ghz or so.

    One thing i noticed was using r_displayinfo=1 shows 1.1Gb+, is that video ram or just regular ram?

    Ill feck around with it more, a visuals/FPS balance would be cool

    its a very nice looking config. i used blink2. i also tryid it in warhead but didnt work correctly. a warhead version should be released.

    Yup. This mod is only for Crysis and required quite some work, but afaik Hawkeye|Puppy mentioned a second/overhauled version of this mod for Crysis which would be released sometime in the future. Nothing about Warhead though...

    Unless I'm missing something, you seem to have two commands repeated, but with different values: e_detail_materials_view_dist_xy and
    e_detail_materials_view_dist_z

    Good catch, Kakorat. Actually the first value for the variables is overwritten by the second value, but it's worth removing those (first two) lines anyway.

    I guess, that is a leftover from when I was playing around with the configuration. :nerd:

    Anyone else bothered by the uber-darkness in the nighttime levels of the game? I would like it, as it makes the game more realistic and a bit scarier, except that the enemy AI has no problem seeing you and seems to have better vision than I do with thermal vision. If the AI was changed or at the very least they removed the timer on you night vision, it'd be cool

    Actually, is there a console command or sthg that'll allow for unlimited night vision?

    My already horrible frame rate got worse with this installed. On top of that I still have to deal with the flickering volumetrics and foliage that I get with Catalyst A.I...

    AMD/ATI isn't the best way to experience Crysis tbh. Phenom's aren't the fastest and apparently Crysis was actually optimized for Nvidia cards. Don't get me wrong, I'm an AMD fan but the facts are the facts.

    I get flickering also, especially in the treetops. I think it's got more to do with transparency aa or a negative LOD bias...

    Don't feel bad I get pretty poor performance with this installed also. Played warhead after and couldn't believe how much better it runs

    Great solid 45 fps on every level and looks incredible.It has everything!
