Philips is soon to release the BDM4037UW Ultra HD monitor. This is a curved model (3000R) and has been fitted with a VA panel. The monitor is big, 40" big ...... Philips to offer Curved BDM4037UW Ultra HD Multiview Monitor
Looks and sounds good but will it have all the same old problems that phillips monitors have that phillips never seem to be interested in fixing on new models
Refresh rate: 23 Hz - 80 Hz, but no adaptive sync. So how does that work? The Philips website just lists: 3840 x 2160 60 Hz
It could depend of the input used ( HDMI, DVI or whatever ), some can do only x resolution at y refresh rate, or due to the device input.
@edekoning because i could run 2560x1440@75Hz ?? even on a 50in i was running 1440 instead of 2160 (win scaling is horrible), which also produces less stress on the gpu (games) and/or allows lower end hardware to get decent fps. i rather play at 1440 and dont need to lower my in-game settings, and running non-native res adds a little blurriness, so i turn off post-AA (like fxaa)...
NTSC? Wow I mean, that went the way of the dodo a long time ago..... it's 2016! Get with the times Philips
