I wonder how much those have actually failed, versus due to user error. Im not sure how it is now (Ive been out of the Phils for 15 years)
but it used to be that if I broke something during overclocking, I could just go back to the store, act dumb and say "it just happened" or something like that
and they would give me a replacement no questions asked.

I am betting those Gigabyte GPUs are 4090s with melted connectors. :)

I'm from the philippines, and the main reason Seasonic psu's are popular is the aftermarket support. Seasonic has a local distributor, if a unit fail, you can easily file a ticket for rma. And it's very easy to replace the psu if it's still under warranty.

Compare to other manufacturer(brand) that don't have local distributor, if a psu fail, you will need to shipped the unit abroad for rma, which is expensive. Buying a new psu makes more sense than expending that amount of money for shipping cost

I can confirm MSI GPU's and Motherboards at least the ones I had were a %100 working never fail. Same for Samsung SSD. I have never seen one fail yet.

I've used 2 msi motherboards, one socket am3 and one socket 1155. Both lasted 5 years until I sold them. They are very durable indeed

I've had 2 Gigabyte cards 1 1070 and 1 2070s and both are still functioning in my cousins mining rig(lol). Had one MSI X370 Mobo kick the bucket on me. No SSD i've purchased since who knows when as failed and I've bought Western Digital Sandisk(before the WD acquisition) OCZ Samsung Intel and a Team group. Had an Antec PSU literally explode a capacitor and an EVGA one started acting up and I replaced it with a Corsair some years ago.

I have a few interesting ones myself. I have a voodoo 3 2000 from 1998 and it still works... I also have a few CPU's form 1999-2003 that still work. Some things last forever and some don't
Corsair makes great PS. I blew a Sea Sonic 1200watt in 2019 and replaced with EVGA 1300. Thank PC hardware gods it's still working. I also had a Corsair 750w gold from 2012 and the rail went out in 2013. Corsair sent me a new 850w Platinum for free no charge. Also, Dell will replace and give you better model sometimes.

CPU's almost never fail, they might come a bit bonkers from the assembly, that i have seen couple of times.

Now that I think about it the only CPU, I lost was due to a surge. I lost a whole PC basically. Things that go out usually PS or machinal HDD for me. I had a Maxtor 60gb it lasted 8 years then failed. But I have been through more PS than anything else.

Sample size is too low for some of this stuff. You can't draw real conclusions here.

Lots of Gigabyte 30xx series cards developing cracks in PCB. Some 40xx series cards also beginning to appear with the problem.

My MSI X470 something Carbon something committed seppuku. If it hadn't I'd still be using it to this day.
