Not too bad for such a tiny aluminum heatsink and fan.

After 6 Hours and 32 Minutes of in-place large FFTs:

I would try to keep it at 50C or below.

Lol! At stock clock speeds I'm getting 56 °C max. I prefer the 400MHz OC even if it costs 4 extra °C. Of course, I'll be upgrading to the Xigmatek HDT-RS1283 and adding a few Xigmatek fans to my case. I really dig the white LEDs and tranparent orange/red fan blades. :)

Are you guys OCing by increasing the multiplier or the FSB of the motherboard or both? I cant seem to get past 3.4 GHZ any help?

Any of you guys lapping your processors or just using them as they come? Not bad OCs either way or temps.

I lapped my 550 and the old heatsink. It's not now.

18x200 for me as well. I didn't feel like pushing it too much, just wanted to get a quick OC of the processor since I figure RAM at 1600Mhz is already not a bottleneck.

Nemisis: What is your voltage set at? I got to 3.2Ghz on stock volts, but i had to go up two clicks to get to 3.6.

    CPU voltage 1.4
    nb 1.3

Your temps look ok, have you tried upping the voltage another notch?

You would have thought they'd include the same heatpiped heatsink they do in the 940 and higher series processors.
