This tweak seems legit. I cap my fps to my refresh rate with rivatuner and I always used to get screen tearing. This seems to have help reduce it

If you will find these crushes` events in Event viewer, post events here.
    What OS?
Are the changes you do in the utility saved in registry?

Regarding the WMI error events - official http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2545227 and unofficial http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/114389-heres-how-to-fix-wmi-event-id-10-instancemodificationeven/

Clean the Application and System event logs before starting the utility. And after the crush post here both event logs.

Edit: Better way is saving Application and System event logs into evtx-files - right click on event log in left pane and choose 'Save log as...' in context menu.

Edit2: If you want me to troubleshoot your OS a little do not clean event logs before starting the utility. That event log on picture looks awful.

that .exe is an example how it looks like, you have to change that .exe to your game's .exe name.

Or you can use that Cyberdyne's or mbk1969's tweak

You can use NVidia Inspector - select a game title and look which exe-files implement it.

Not sure if placebo, but wolfenstein seem'd to improve quite a lot with this, makes sense afterall.

Tested this with 3Dmark (Fire Strike) - no improvement/loss in performance

Tested with Crysis 3 ; steady 60fps (tweak on) compared to it dropping to 50fps in certain areas (tweak off)

    good find, thanks!

    I think no.

Edit: Registry value "UseLargePages" is checked at every start of process. Just checked that.
