    @fry178 Maybe my knowledge is outdated, haven't checked this things in two years since I bought my OLED TV.

    If the number increased so much in the last two years and LED count is now in the hundreds and soon maybe thousands, that is good news !

    Yeah it is they made a ton of progress in the last two years. Like I said prior we already have TV's you can buy right now with 25,000 LED back lights and they are under $3,000. When you get in that range the anti blooming algorithms stand a pretty good chance at making blooming imperceptible. In my opinion its going to get very close but not as good as OLED on black levels but without any of the OLED negatives. If Samsung gets a 20,000+ LED back-light 65" TV out with there best in class anti glare I will be buying one as that ticks all my boxes.
