Can anybody suggest a nvidia 1366x768 setting for me please.

TV is a Panasonic TC-L32X5. native 720p, capable of displaying 1366x768, but not a choice in Nvidia setting since it's connected via DVI to HDMI. Then when set to 720p, the desktop goes out of TV.

Have you tried custom resolution or the NV control Panel "Adjust desktop size and position" options ?

Yes did try "adjust desktop size and position". I get a weird resolution after resizing, something like 1216 x 684.

I dont quite undersdand underscan and overscan options in there, and did not make anydifference when I tried them.

Turn off overscan on the TV, the setting may be under another name.
If this is enabled, you will never get it to look right.
Overscan stretches the screen beyond the edges you can see.

Some TVs dont let you disable it which is unfortunate.
If you can set the input on the TV to "PC", that may disable it or allow you to disable it.
