Hi Can anyone please help me ive just built a Gaming PC but it cant handle most games at max? I believe it really should, its getting similar 3d mark scores as my 4 year old system. The system is only watercooled on the CPU at the moment, but i know the nvidia geforce Titan x Maxwell runs vey hot. Specs Mainboard Asus Strix z270f CPU Intel 7700 4.2 Ghz Kaby Lake GPU Titan X maxwell RAM Gskill trident 16gb DDR 4 4133mhz PSU corsair HX 850i Any help would be appreciated this system should achieve over 5500 on 3d mark time spy. Thanks in advance Jase
You have to give more info to get help on the subject as Which OS are you running which Graphics Driver you are using and then start monitoring you system trough benchmarking etc
No problem ! sounds anyway if everythings is running hot incl. the processor maybe there is something not right with the airflow inside your case on the other hand it could be a software problem but I doubt that. is the fan on the GPU spinning correctly ?
Hi Im prett new to watercooling, so just started with the CPU, its running on a 240mm rad with 2 akasa vegars x7 fans, im kind of leaning towards software, whats the best temp monitoring software? The airflow in the case should be ok as its a thermaltake core P5 open air case Like i said i know the Titan X maxwell runs very hot anyway, the fan is spinning but the backplate is still hot to touch. Thanks Jase
You could use MSI Afterburner for monitoring the temps of your GPU under stress for example you can find the software here on the forum
At what resolution do you expect "max" settings? Imo that titanX can maxout 1080p, -no supersampling by newer very demanding games.
Did you: -re-install Win10 + latest drivers + (benchmark) programs? -max performance in Windows power options? -set NVidia performance to max in NV Control Panel? -turn off DSR? I'm using Aida64 for monitoring clocks and temps in general. And MSI Afterburner for additional monitoring of the GPU. You could try an app like that to see if something's downclocking, not boosting, or whatever.
download snappy driver installer, make sure everythings up to date too, set adaptive in graphic drivers to ramp it up when needed.
Jason Knight... I went spearfishing in the Sea of Cortez with a Jason Knight on a road trip to Bahia de los Angeles in Baja California. The same?
