Am I the only one who is wondering why you were fingering your motherboard chips?

Well guys, here's the situation: I went to the pc shop with my mom yesterday, and they told me that they's fix my comp and install my 7900GT Extreme in it when it comes in the beginning of next week. Here's the bad part of this: 6 months ago, the chipset fan on my a8n broke, and so i bought a heatsink from zalman, thinking that it probably would not void my warranty. And i was right too, except i didn't remember to keep the original fan that broke... (only the heatsink as a souvenir)

..So yesterday we were there and i told the guy at the pc store about this chipset fan thing, and he says: "You do still have the original fan, don't you?". And i say: "Err... No?". And then the guy tells me that if there's a problem with the mb, I'll have to buy a replacement one myself!!! CRAP! And since i think that the mb is the problem, i think i'm gonna have to fork out 160€ for a new a8n.

Learn from me guys.... and gurus.... DON'T POKE THEM CHIPS ON YOUR MOTHERBOARD!!! You'll regret it, and your wallet will hate you.

PS: I poked the chips because i wanted to know if they were hot... (Please spare me the laughs and the lectures....)
