Had to remove the drivebay on my antec 900, the card was about 3mm too long. Can easily mount drives without the drive bay anyway so not a big deal.

Can people stop whining about the sizes of the new gpu's, most case's will fit these cards, unless you have like an m atx case.
As a matter of fact i could potentialy fit in 17" card since MY thermal take armour is quite spacious, and i have nothin in the bottom 3 5,2" only a fan at the very front, so my case will still fit gpu's made about 3-4 years from now on??

i have a cosmos 1000 and I know it will fit in that. That was the reason I went with a big case, because I had a feeling these cards were going to get bigger.

i thought the drive bays were wide enough for you to just slot the card partially into a drive bay for inserting it into a pcie?

They are wide enough, but you cant push the card into the pcie socket as the end of the card hits the bottom of the drive bay which is too high still about half an inch to push the card into the socket.

Direct link from the official CM site (hit the "support" button for every individual case).
Probably its something they added in the past few months...

I had to remove the drive cage from my Antec 900 as the card was about 3mm too long.

are you serious? i have the antec 900 and have the 5870 which is about inch shorter and it fits fine. had to push hdd bays out a tad cause i wanted little more space to hide the pci-e cables.

you shouldn't of had to remove'em completly. the card would have to be like 13-14 inches in order to have to completely remove the bays. move your drives to the very bottom or very top for extra space unless you have like more then 2 drives. i guess that can be one reason i don't have a problem either with space since i only have 2 drives.
