PAX PCI XFI All-OS-Driver V1.10

Sorry people I found a glitch in WDM area I left old name shouldn't been there thats why some of you having trouble installing new set I release new set tomorrow afternoon sorry everone good thing I catch this glitch lol.

 

Im gonna try this out, but what is this vista shutdown bug? Im using vistax64 and i currently dont have any issues with my sound driver.

 

It's shutdown delay bug I think it's no biggie lots people staying there is x64 bug shutdown delay from new offical drivers bass on creative. I don't have x64 so I couldn't tell ya But try them any how let me know how the sound is hehe

 

I think im not using the latest creative drivers , how can i check for the current driver version that i have installed so incase things go wrong i have something to rollback to ?

 

by the Date Well I never used Roll back drivers ever. I used Driver cleaner or you can used the sweaper here. To installed my set you have go Device Manager. Then Uninstalled creative drivers. Then run the sweaper then reboot. You can keep the suite. Reinstalled all software that comes with the driver set. Then installed the driver and reboot and enjoy. Ya don't used driver roll back it's a miss trust me. As for audio con in the Set just hit Ok if you have newer audio con or not.

 

Rollback drivers i mean that ill reinstall the current version that i have, not use the rollback option. Same with reinstalling older videocard drivers, thats what i mean. Cant install your drivers yet till i get the installer of this driver version again.

 

Um no You really can't installed new drivers on top of old ones sound would never come out right. You always have to start drivers freash if not mess up your computer. Like with video drivers it's always good run driver cleaner to installed any newer videos or sound drivers so you get max out of them if not they get corrupted.

 

I dont know if your just plain confused of my English is that confusing so I'll just clear it up now.

I do know how to do clean re-install of drivers, I am a computer enthusiast. I only wanted to know what my driver version was, It was my mistake for posting that screenshot here w/c led to your confusion that I wanted to use the rollback button. I should have just googled the driver verison 1368 right away instead of confusing the hell out of you.

Also I use both Driver Cleaner and Sweeper since both programs do leave traces on the registry and finally 2 sweeps of my favorite registry cleaner remove the left over traces by DH and DW.

 

Installed your drivers, got an error message saying something about one or more issues unresolved something like that upon the first phase of the setup.. i think it was installing audiopanel (basic UI ) or something but it worked out fine afterwards.

I havent noticed any difference in audio quality yet, and will report if there are any problems i encounter on this driver compared to the 1368

Ya Just ingore the Audio con I might have take it out lol You need be in ENT mode to hear the Driffter it depends on what sound card I guess mate . You did reinstalled software right? You don't need installed Audio con panel then. Please do test in games too and music thanks. Some people can hear the clearer sound others can't depends on person ears I guess.

 

I think it would depend more on the quality of the speakers and the audio it self. Im just using a regular Altec 621 desktop multimedia speakers.. around 6-7years old haha.

 

what are this "fps boost" of which you speak of?

 

lol Ya sorry Mate It was late that night . Ya always run driver cleaner. Then installed new drivers please reinstalled software too. I know it's pain but only way get max sound of the driver set.

 

Tweak FPS means incress sound fps in games I don't know if tweak would work or not but it helps out the sound more in games like hearing person footsteps better or even heart beat or shooting for mile away. If you play any shooters games. I don't know if tweaks really works but I did test the sound fps in 3mark03 I did gain 1%-5% depends how fast your system is. There no way test fps in windows 7 lol because it doesn't have hardware test do anymore.

 

Could also be attributed to margin of error. Was this over a single run, or the average over several? If it was a single run then the increase if any, is meaningless.

 

it's over +3 or -3 on avg depends on your system settings and sound card But ever bit helps though. It really don't incress your over game fps just the fps in sound. Help out in shooter games. Thats about it .

 

ahh... well that means...

the buffer is slightly smaller so the "ms" lag is minimal without ****ing up ****

anyways... I installed them again in my system, work perfectly in Win7 x64

 

Yup that means no sound lag in games thats what I'm trying to tweak with fps hehe. Let me know how they sound if you can tell try ENT mode and Game mode.

 

honestly I probably won't tell the difference, but lemme check

I did notice a slight stutter ish problem with "ent" mode on, game didn't crash after playing for a while though...

let me set it up as "game" mode and try again...

apparently that WMI crash the game was giving me was because of the sound drivers.... and I thought it was my vga heating up I even bought this just in case...

You sure did reinstalled software Mate? the launcher and volume nob? When was last time you run iobit software checkup and defrag your pci Please do that thanks.
