cool stuff but wasn't AMD hogging HBM2 supply to shorten Nvidia's production process ?!!

I think that's only for Tesla and Quadro. Current Quadro can have up to 24GB if I'm not mistaken.

Normal Geforce variants will have 8 - 16GB for sure.
Each HBM2 stack can have max up to 8GB per stack.

So we already know how HBM works, I guess it will need to have at least the same amount of ROPS as GM200 and what 44 -48 SMX to make it worth it.

we need to wait at pci-E 4.0 too to really take benefit from hbm badwith, and by that time i really need to get rid of my i7 2600k since it's only pci-E 2.0 compatible, bottle neck here will be real.

No you don't. The data is transferred over the bus while the game is loading and is stored on the devices memory pool. The only time PCI-E bandwidth comes into play is when you run out of physical memory on the device or when you're running heavily compute oriented tasks that require constant CPU processing of the data.

It's because that site is a rumour site, and that the information on there may or may not be accurate. It even claims this is the case! It does make for interesting reads though, which is the whole point of it!

So, this may or may not be real. If it is real, it probably won't even be as 'mainstream' (note the ' around the word mainstream) as the Titan X etc, and probably just ultra high end Quadro use.

Never had any trouble with sli bridges in the 10 plus years of using sli.
