    Hi

I've just bought a new computer with an Asus P5N-E mobo. At first it wouldn't boot with my new E6750, but I fixed that flashing to the latest BIOS (0703) using an E6420. But now that it's all working, Asus Probe is giving me warnings about the mb temperature. It's 36C idle, while the CPU idles at 30C, which I find very odd. Is 36C idle really too high for the motherboard? And if so, should I perhaps add some north and south bridge cooling?

    Thanks in advance,
    Six Shooter

36 is just nice temp, you shouldn't worry about, chipsets can handle alot more temperature twice as you have so don't believe Asus Probe.
    Good Luck

Ok, thanks. Oh, I forgot to say that when the computer is turned on for a couple of hours, there's a loud rattling noise coming from it, does that indicate some kind of problem or is it just fine?
