For anyone who hasn't tried this trouser soiling game do it, it possibly the most atmospheric game I've played in a very very long time.

Play it in the dark with the surround volume cranked up, it's simply fantastic.

Just played the demo, midnight, headphones on. I don't think I can play this if I'm honest, my heart was racing from the first second, then it got jumpy and I almost collapsed and threw my controller. Creepy. Disturbing. Can't see myself playing through this.

Sounds like me the first time I played Outlast, ended up completing it twice and playing through the DLC, turns out I enjoy crapping my pants lol

This is what sucks for me. Im not scared one bit by a game. Not by movies etc. I massively love horror. Im not easily scared. Even as a little kid in 98 playing RE and RE2. But if the atmosphere of the game is awesome, One of my favs was Metro 2033 for this.

Ill have to try it on a buddys ps4.

Most definitely try this, although playing round a mates might not have quite the same effect as sitting and playing through it on your own.

It does the horror, spooky thing the right way. No cats being thrown out of cupboards and crap like that, it just keeps building tension to the point you won't even want to turn round. Considering its a video game makes it mighty impressive. This will be a must for me if the rest of the game is this good.

The creep factor on the demo is pretty high. I can't remember the last time the hairs on the back of my neck stood up while I was playing a game.

I'm really picky with horror games. Horror movies have never scared me in the least. I just don't get it. And in games, my mind looks for things that are 'game-y', like looking for the illusion of danger. Whether or not my character can actually be killed in a situation and my methods of defending myself. So a good 99% of horror games are just silly for me. The first Amnesia did scare me, managing different things and my ability to die and not be able to fight back and only hide played a big part. The second Amnesia, not at all, lost everything that was scary for me about the first one. And this PT Silent Hill demo game, same as the second Amnesia, just boring. Looks graphically nice though.
