Overload - "A New Adventure From The Creators Of Descent"

Indeed. The only Descent remake that was able to recapture the original Descent from 1995. Probably because a lot of devs actually worked on Descent 1 or 2 They even created their own level editor.

 

I had no idea this game existed. Just tried the demo and it's pretty awesome!

 

It sort of fell under the radar, which is sad, because it's a genuinely good game, and a really good remake of Descent. The levels are big in this game, and it's easy to get lost. Thankfully, the game's map is great and it even has a holographic "guide" to guide you to certain waypoints (so Descent with some QoL additions).
