Overheating GPU

Yea everyone said it was useless at the time to buy a card with 2GB of vRAM just as they're saying now about anything with more than 2GB ...
I went for the cheaper option back then, but it was a mistake It's a shame, because in SLI these cards can max out everything and still have an average framerate of at least 40FPS in most games, but as soon as vRAM starts to lack they become very stuttery and it takes a long time to recover if at all...
