Overclocking non k 6700 on Strix Z270F gaming?

    Nvidia GTX FE 1080
    i know my processor has locked down multi. but is it possible to OC this proc at least to 4.2Ghz? stable?

    my current config:
    core i7 6700 (non k)
    ASUS Strix Z270F Gaming
    Gskill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4 @ 3200 16- 18-18-38
    GTX 1080 FE
    Thermaltake Smart 700W psu

    NZXT S340 case with an NZXT Kraken X62 (i just got this two days ago)

    You should verify it's even possible.

    Change BCLK to 105mhz and see if it will POST and show correct speed in windows.

    Many BIOS have new microcode that may prevent BCLK OC.
