Info - https://www.kotaku.com.au/2020/02/o...have-been-saved-and-are-now-playable-offline/ Download page - http://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/downloads/ There are two versions of the download: ~300MB... and ~250GB. For those that can't access the .torrent for any reason -
They focus a lot on how flash is going and how they have saved online flash games for offline play. But no mention of whether you need flash to run them, nor what is needed. Not even on Flashpoints main page http://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/ They hint at it but dont cover the point directly. edit tried to download the Ultimate version, the torrent has no seeds, everyone is at 0%. The 7Z says it will take at least 9 days to finish on mirror 1. edit2 Mirror 2 is running at 2.3MBytes/s, much better. Will take 1.3 days. Mirror 3 is running at 3.3MBytes/s 22 hrs to finish. fyi
After a couple of hours it stopped downloading. If I can get it to restart it downloads for a second or 2 and then stops. The torrent still has zero seeds, all clients are at 0%. A waste of time I'm afraid, at least for now.
In a related vein, imagine my surprise when Uplay's launcher REQUIRED me to download Flash to view an embedded video ON their platform for a game. WTH is that?
I am on mirror 2 again which has already stopped once but managed to restart it. I dont trust this will work. Mirrors 1 and 3 are useless, so is the torrent. The archive.org link does nothing. Tell a lie, it downloaded 1.5MB and thinks it has finished.
Getting 180mbps from the the-eye.eu mirror, which appears to be somewhere in Amsterdam (so close to me). I'll start seeding the torrent once it finishes ETA 3hrs (but I'm getting sleepy... might not be still awake when it's done) --- Correction, used the recommended "Free Download Manager" and now it's at 350mbps, with around 1.5 hrs completion time. Not bad. --- Edit 2: I've paused and restarted it in the download manager, now it's using 4 connections for my maximum 500mbps, with a completion time within the hour. I will try to stay awake to place it in the torrent client ... Finished. Hash-checking torrent now. ... aaaaand seeding. Enjoy wrecking my connection ;-) p.s. Seeing ~170 total seeds counted, over 500 peers... So torrent should be now the best option, plenty of people have this already.
I think my ISP must be playing with us. The torrent has 16 peers at 0% and no seeds. And cannot download from any of the 7z servers. Oh well, I havent lost anything Good on you guys for trying to help.
Different port, different client, setup port forwarding, use the "encrypted traffic" option some clients have, use VPN... there are solutions. No ISP is able to completely block it. Or just download from the-eye, seems to work fine for Europe netizens.
