yeah the game runs super smooth , the demo didn't though anybody got console commands enabled ?! PCGamer published then removed a trick to do it , that trick doesn't work with the retail version
Well just started playing, no tearing for me with vsync disabled in game and my OSD says gsync is enabled. I don't know if the game has a fps cap but MSI AB shows that the fps has never gone past 122fps.
Played a little last night......smooth as @1440P on Max......I like the use of the camera to video events and review them for clues......even the notes you find are disturbing lol. Will keep me entertained until Routine releases at least.
I'll be skipping it until it's on sale if that's the case. A good game isn't entirely related to length, but value most definitely factors into that. There's games I've paid £20-30 for that have been under 8 hours long and they pretty much always leave me feeling disappointed. I've spent that sort of money on games I've put tens to hundreds of hours into. Don't get me wrong, there's short games I've loved, Murdered: Soul Suspect comes to mind. I just prefer getting more for my money, and there's plenty to choose from at the moment. It's no biggie, I'll just wait until it's on sale like I did with the first.
hmm Graphics are great, story very predictable (while crossing the ethical line sometimes which is cool to see), game play nothing new and repetitive after a while. i don't consider making everything just darker just for immersion a cool feature.
Yeah PewDiePie scares the crap out of me too... Gonna buy this soonish, for less than 30 EUR not a bad price. Haven't actually finished the first either yet, started it but it got pushed back... I've since bought more underwear so should be ok now, har har!
This is running on the creaky old Unreal Engine 3, right, albeit clearly heavily modified? I only had the briefest of goes on the game this morning before leaving for work but I was very impressed with how well it ran and how superb it looks (granted I'd already played the excellent demo so it wasn't that surprising). The first game scared the crap out of me so much so that I climbed into a locker and refused to come out for months!!! Hopefully, I'll get further in this game. P.S. Why do video camera batteries in games only last 5-10 minutes? It just doesn't make any sense... :3eyes:
They need some way to increase suspense. There would be no point in even having the battery mechanic in the game if they lasted 7-8 hours like real batteries. They do drain excessively fast in this game though. But not quite as bad as the flashlight from F.E.A.R.
Man, I want to play this game, but I'm way to scare... I've been watching streams almost every day. I might eventually get it, but god it's scary.
I got to the part where there was this crazy lady chanting satanic words then i got caught by her where she butchered me to death. hehe
Yeah, every second in that game make you edgy & your heart hate you every second of it. with headphones on & Windows Sonic 7.1ch VSS, oh god you can hear them walking around back of your head to the side of your left ear to top of your head it was unreal & want to stop. I beat it & the ending was uke2:, no joke.
Enabled DSR in the drivers. No resolution in the game. Still the same native resolution, 1080p. Why ?
