I need fan speed control and i used to run ATiTool for it because i could hide tray icon (while ATT still running in the background). But now ATiTool is plain dead under Vista and all i can use is ATT...
...which doesn't have this ability. I really need it only for fan control and empty traybar because it's already "polluted" with bunch of tray icons.
Is there any chance to see this feature in ATT soon?

    Thx

But how you will be able to access ATT options without icon in tray?

I don't need to. When my fan settings are set i don't need it anymore. Though you could "show" the tray icon by running ATT again when it's already running. At least ATiTool worked like this and i liked that feature...

All i need is a silent rig and with passively cooled CPU and northbridge, only loud thing in my PC is graphic card.

Unless you have time to write just small tool to control fan speed alone and nothing else. I'd like that even more...
