    Hi All,
I would like to ask for your support on how to find and set optimal settings for this particular setup, or at least to have a good starting point. I'm back to Intel after some detour to AMD since last Summer.

    Setup:
    ASUS Z590-E
    11900K + Be Quiet 360 AIO
    Corsair CMW32GX4M2G4000C18 2x16GB
    ASUS TUF 3080 Ti
    EVGA 750 W PSU

I did not do anything else, but selected XMP 4000 MHz in BIOS.

    Why I want to optimise?
    • CPU core temps of 78°C, CPU package temps of 90°C while running Aida64 stress test.
    • Idle CPU core voltage of 1.3v, gets up to 1.58v under load
    • 3DMark result of 16690 where average is 17861. Graphics score 18522, CPU 10698
    • Memory read speed 30 GB/sec, write 20 GB/sec, latency 93 ms, 60.8% in Userbenchmark.
    Any recommendations are welcome.

    Thank you!

aida64 stress test is made to run a load that not even encoding or unpacking a 7z will demonstrate (closest comparison being hedt folding cores to compare)

the cpu is adjusting its boost clock with 90c as a adjustment target.

That's my reason I would like to optimise, because I don't even want to imagine my temps during Prime95 or whatever...

you don't need to optimize, its operating in spec.

That said, your memory bandwidth is low. Are you sure its using xmp?
