    Hello,

I'm looking for an optical S/PDIF adapter to connect my TV with Soundblaster Z.

The TV has an optical out but the Sound Blaster Z has an Optical S/PDIF in so the cable does not work.

    I found this: http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.752678
but have no idea if the adapter is the right one. I'm completely newbie when it comes to advanced sound and especially adapters.

Also please, if you know of the name of any optical S/PDIF adapters you may use www.skroutz.gr to find them and post them here. I tried but with no results thx to my lack of knowledge in the subject.

It would really mean a lot to help me in this as I do not have the knowledge to do it alone.

EDIT: I bought this http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.751740 but I'm not sure it's the right cable to use.

EDIT 2: Nevermind. It was the most noob thing I could do. I had the volume down and I couldn't hear a thing from the SB Z. It is working as intended.
