I just see a red dot with grayish lines going diagonal.

People with some degree of colour blindness may have difficulty with optical illusions using various parts of the colour spectrum, but may have improved vision when looking at images utilising stereo effects. Lucky :)

I have reading glasses but never really thought I could have some color blindness.

Its all about the shadow. If you light it up this happens:

It's a really old illusion. Your mind thinks they are different because of the shadow. If you crop most of the picture out it becomes a lot clearer.

This is a stereogram image. If you look at it directly for awhile and just relax your eyes then slightly cross your eyes you will see a true 3 dimensional image appear. Once you have the nack of doing it you can move your head arouund to get a really neat perspective on it.

Hmmm the last one is weird, at least for me. I see the ground level with the lake as the highest point, everything else seems to be lower like in a canyon. Weird.

They're gray (R: 244 G: 244 B: 244 from the middle of the line; i.e. completely neutral light gray). You people have ****ed up monitor settings.

By the way, can you see the text? (yes, I can read it)

Yep this is the same as the spinning lady illusion. Once you've watched it for a while you can make it change directions at will.

If you learn the part of how to interpret it, you can change the direction from one "revolution" to the next so it seems to go left-right-left.

The "throw" of the image (what causes the ambiguity) is the windows are swung both inside and outside the window frame. Good Job sir!!!

    LoL Mini fail.
You're treating it like it's an actual object.
    It's a picture.
In the picture, the section marked A, and the section marked B are infact the same color.
However if this were a checkered object, that you could hold in your hand, you can indeed dispute it for it's lighting. Hell if it actually real time 3D you could probably dispute it.
But that simply isn't the case, as it is simply a 2D picture, the only lighting is the backlighting of your monitor.
IE a picture of a light bulb does not produce light. There is no lighting in this picture.
Edit: highlights don't count as lighting, in the sense to which you are using it.
