Every time I come to http://forums.guru3d.com it loads up the page where I can see everything, but immediately a grey box with a red x in the corner comes up and says Cannot open http://forums.guru3d.com Operation aborted It only happens on this site. Well I just click OK and refresh and everything is fine, but I'm curious about what is causing it. Any ideas? [edit] almost every time. It doesn't do it after I've already been here. Like it'll do it again when I close IE and open it up again.
i get this same exact problem...sometimes hardly ever, and sometimes every page i load. its f**in annoying.
It's some code Hilbert added to the forums for the Ad server a wile back. He cannot remove it because it would dump the Ad server and that would cost money.
Oh man this was really annoying untill i found a way just when the pages loads and the box appears just press ok and then stop on internet explorer dat red cross u seena just press this and u wont b doin a annoying refreashing but really this sux
