I have just downloaded the latest Win 10 64bit driver for my ASUS DX card. When I boot my PC now it stalls the boot because of a message that pops up about C:\Windows\SysWOW64\HsMgr.exe and then another for HsMgr64.exe. I'm guessing this file is safe (downloaded twice) and the reason the message is coming up is because of something to do with digital signatures. How do I stop the message coming up and stalling my boot (other things like Steam boot after this message has been clicked)? I could follow this but I'm unsure if it's the right way to go: http://www.door2windows.com/disable-open-file-security-warning-message/ Any ideas chaps? Thanks in advance.
Are you sure I`ve ran drivers setup program like administrator? You can check in properties dialog for both exe-files whether there is button (or another control in Win10 - I don`t remember) like "Unblock". Also you can unblock the same way the drivers setup program before start.
When file is downloaded from not secure zone (like Internet) it is marked (with special stream attached to file). OS checks for such marks when you invoke files and shows warning dialog if file is marked. "Unblock" option does clean this mark. (AFAIK)
