Check out the spirit level and it has nothing to do with the afterlife. GPU manufacturer 51RISC joins the fight against GPU sag in a weird, weird way | TechSpot
If I had unlimited funds, I'd buy it just for shits and giggles. As a small tip, if you ever need small levels of such spirits, buy spirit levels from those guys who build and integrate windows into walls. 15 or 20cm long, costing a few €. Probably less than the extra here
@fantaskarsef I have a spirt level app on my phone. I will lay it on top of my GFX card later, but then it could cause more sag. Oh er. @anticupidon I agree. But it looks like this thread has been overlooked on account of all the new 4090's appearing on the forum.
This confused me for a while, I havent heard of GPUs coming from a company called 51RISC. Nor have I heard of GPU sag, its a chip. Turns out they are a gfx card manufacturer, they dont make GPUs.
@Mufflore Hmm, perhaps they thought adding a spirit level was a neat trick on selling more gfx cards (gonna go viral, not). Lol, GPU sag, it is funny. I see you can now get fixing plates by thermo grizzly to hold intel CPU's in place without distorting them for better cooler and paste contact and apparently, they work and work well.
