I am an Avid Avid Composer 3 user (small "avid joke)
I would like to understand ,should i get an old Nvidia card and do the Softquadro? or use a newer 9600 GSO?
Which one will give me better results?

Or .. Should i "Convert" to ATI ? Does new ATI Cards can still be softmodded?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Where did you get to with this if you don't mind me asking - I'm an avid Avid Xpress Pro user and I have a 9600GSO - have downloaded RivaTuner and am looking at trying to softquadro it at the moment, just trying to read up on it!

btw, XpressPro runs fine with the 9600GSO but it does claim not to be able to run SD footage full frame - says GPU doesn't support it..... hopefully it'll realise how much firepower it actually has if I can get it softmodded!
