    Solid performance from these drivers, running Win7 x64 on a 24'' screen. All games 1920 x 1200 ...

Crysis Warhead runs great on DX10 gamer settings.
    TF2 runs great.

Also tried World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War II... all running with no issues.

Also, Empire Total War seems to no longer have the jerkiness and studdering I had with 182.xx ...

Sorry no benchies right now... at work. ;)

Yes, that's already been posted, use EVGA Precision instead.

I have to say that after having these installed for a few days, I'm feeling like my system isn't as stable. I've been running Win7 x64 since the beta was released with whatever the latest Vista x64 driver was available, and have never had any stability problems of any kind. Since installing these however I've had issues with random stuff like sleep, or my mouse not responding.

I'm probably going to switch back to the Vista/WDDM 1.0 drivers.

Because you have a mobile chip, these drivers are for desktop cards.

I don't know much about the windows update "nvidia" drivers. So would someone mind explaining if they were just generic drivers or if they were actually made by nvidia. Also, how do these compair to those. These are the first actual Windows 7 drivers I've found on nvidia's website so I'm itching to try them out. Even though my rig is way out of date, the new one will be built long before windows 7 get's here.

Still no word about the Refresh rate problem on this one? I'm limited to 60Hz now since this install. I should at least get 76Hz... but how!? :(

It's quite simple actually, go to the Nvidia CP -> Manage custom resolutions, click Create.. enter desired refresh rate under needed resolution, test it to confirm that it's working, go to Change resolution and select your newly created custom refresh rate :)

    Good luck!

    P.S. I'm running build 7048 x64, was also limited to 60 Hz.

Two xfx 7950 GX2 SLI Mode
    WDDM 1.0 and 1.1

Maybe my personal experience with Win 7 and relevant video drivers is of some help.
When I installed Win 7 for the first time, it automatically installed the Nvidia Driver 179.23.
Along with the frequent updates of Win 7 it corrected the driver to 179.43 and called it the WDDM 1.0.
As you can see in my specs I have two 7950 GX2 cards in SLI mode. The astonishing thing was, that after installation of the 179.43 (WDDM 1.0), my two cards were running in Quad SLI mode.

Well, everybody says, that Quad SLI should not be possible with the 7-series cards, only from the 8-series onwards - but it certainly states so in the control panel.

I wonder, what the 181.71 will do now. It is supposed to install either the WDDM 1.0 or the WDDM 1.1 depending on your set up and hardware.
I am not going to try that out, because I could not roll back to the 179.43 installation. 179.43 is not available as a stand allone installation kit, you get it only via the Win 7 updates.
