Yea I found it from March on MS site, but it updated my build number to .240

You already on 10586.240 ?

 

KB3157621 introduces build revision .240
It's from today.

Which means in addition to your manual MS site download your WU did this update in addition. If you check your update history it should come up with today's date or 27th of April

 

I didn't download it from MS manually, I just meant I found the KB article for this update dated March on their site, after WU started downloading it

I got KB3140768 cumulative back in 3/8/2016

KB3147458 4/12/2016 is last cumulative update I got

KB3157621 you list hasnt been pushed to me yet

 

MS is blocking the hijacking of Cortana's search results by other browsers. Edge + Bing only. Just in case anybody cared about that junk

That new CU is release preview only. You'll probably see it in the next patch tuesday.

 

I manually forced mine with this command


dism /online /add-package:C:\Downloads\windows10.0-kb3157621-x64_0cda29d0ac9c9600a2d2f96775857d8785842ed9.cab


When I checked winver it didnt say anything about IS or preview.. Same if I click on mycomputer and properties to see windows info.

 

I'm still waiting for my update.

 

I'm not running a preview, this is TH2 RTM 10586.240 (was .218)

Not available here either via WU, build .218 still.

Maybe this CU applies only to select systems/configurations? If that makes sense.

 

I`ll go upstairs and see if my miniPC running the same build gets it via WU

EDIT - Nope, had to do that one manually, no idea

 

Anyone know what the heck is this?

Edit: maybe its something with MRT software removal tool, I've read few lines mentioning it "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old\DataStore\Logs" >> edbtmp.txt



Also I have 2 SoftwareDistribution folders.. I will delete old now lol:nerd:

Hm idk, well so far I didnt see anything unusual at newer update, I installed it mostly for better games/programs compatibility.

 

Anyone else got this bug?

I don't have a BT device connected, and if I try to turn it off, it just opens settings

I have it disabled in uefi.. Although 1-2 times I used default uefi and it probably registered it from that..

 

I seen a few time on my pc and I dont even have bt,

On laptops it always there thought

 

Is there a BT device on your board? There isn't even any BT hardware on my machine at all

yes I do, its a wifi+bluetooth combo from broadcom, but its disabled now.


ah ok.. Yeah strange bug indeed then. Maybe go to services and disable anything bluetooth..

 

Good idea, I've disabled the only two BT services I can see, they were both Manual and stopped, but I`ll see tomorrow if it's worked after a reboot

 

tis to be expected at this point by everyone. we should start replacing "bug" with "feature" :bang:
