The latest CU had to install twice for some reason. It successfully (?) installed but winver was still showing .475 after reboot and it simply installed again, no download. After the second reboot it reported .503. Weird. In update history, the update has (2) next to it.

Exact same problem for update KB4497936 but on 1903 (18362.113 now from .86). Installed twice and the second one has "(2)" added in update history.
    Way to go Microsoft ;)

You will probably have to install kb4494441 twice to get it properly installed, check version.

Ahh, Fatboynl bet me to it :)

I put 1809 on uncles pc, I am simply amazed how the stupidest of things happen, that I cant fix with out resinstalling windows.

I did clean install of 1809 on, I went to re direct "documents, music, downloads, video etc" to the D: that has all those folders, and all the links got fubared to the point I could'nt get and them to link correctly all the links in file explorer said "documents" and i could not rename them

I got annoyed after 30 min try to fix that, and just reinstalled cleaning again and this time the re directs to d: drive work correct and hyper link in the file explorer kept there correct naming. it took less time to reinstall windows cleanly and do this then it took me trying to fix the first install. I still simply amazed by the stupid stuff that happens XD

MS added a note about the double installation of the recent CU in the update history page.

After installing the latest CU, the win+s search menu pops up after I clear out all notifications by pressing the X on their groups. Even more ridiculous is that it is the old narrow appearance of the menu and not the wide version that shipped in 1809 lol. Another bug to add on top of that weird graphical glitch that was introduced with the wrong side of the screen fix.

Explorer is still reporting wrong folder size for folders with 100k+ files such as c:\windows itself. They've fixed it in 18298 but cba to bring it to 1809....

That was a weird one. I had to restart my computer 4-5 times, because of WU installing the CU twice.

I've seen were updates install twice, I think the update relied on another update and you get weird results. Other than that should work, if you have delayed set for features and if the CU is released other than patch Tuesday you won't get it until delay day amount expires.
