I did a little digging in feedback hub and the file explorer properties bug was fixed in 19H1 build 18298 but they've left it in 1809. I hope they patch it here too. I had reinstalled 1809 in the evening and 17763.107 (RTM) correctly showed the folder size and files but after updating to .402, the bug appeared again.

I wonder if it's a recent CU's bug like the file association issue or was it just shipped with it? I first noticed this in late December in the Pictures library. Right now I get a different size/file count with folder properties, all files and folders selected and opening properties, and opening the windows folder in 7zip and clicking info for all files and folders! 7zip has the correct value at over 20GB though.

Btw it just occurred to me: I'm still running 1803 build because 1809 still hasn't been offered via WU.

I could install manually sure but kind of interesting.
I've gotten all previous TH / RS updates via WU automatically in a few weeks from release.

Or was 1809 permanently removed from WU rollout and only available via manual d/l?
I remember RS5 was at least pulled once because of that user files erasing thingy.

i updated a laptop to 1809 using wu just recently, if its not showing for you you have a component that fits the block list.

No Intel vid on an AMD rig ;)

BUT apparently phased rollout has indeed begun only now, March 20 2019 it says.

Guess it may be up next time WU checks for updates or I do manually.

So that's about 5 months from first release to actual rollout...

though the 1809 release is only available thru the SAC-T and LTSC channels as noted on the Win10 release information page:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10/release-information
heck, there's no SAC (or Semi-annual channel, formerly "current branch for business" or CBB) for 1809

but 1809 is definitely not compatible with very old laptops made in 2006 & earlier as this fella noted in this Ten forums thread. 1809 either refused to install/upgrade to it (upgrade failed at SAFE_OS phase) or completely freeze on bootup. 1809 wouldn't even install nor run on that guy's old laptop using Pentium Ms.

They had shipped 1809 with a visual glitch in the search bar in explorer if you moved it to another monitor with a different scale % but it's fixed with this patch :D All I want now is that explorer properties issue patch to be backported from 18298.

Would be nice if they fixed Action Center's animation in 1809 and 1903.

WU didn't download it, I guess it's because of the Japanese language related changes.

    KB4501835 is a Catalog-only update, lucidus

but anyways, Microsoft released a newer update today - KB4495667 (build 17763.475)
unlike the previous update, KB4495667 is available on Windows Update and thru Microsoft Update Catalog

A new Windows release health dashboard is now available for public preview. Covering Windows 10, version 1809 and earlier versions (client and server), the new dashboard provides near real-time information on known issues (open and resolved) across both feature and monthly updates.

I am redoing uncles pc when he pick up SSD later this week for pc, I am gona reinstalled windows 10 cleanly on it, He has 1803 on usb stick wonder if I should install 1809 or this 19h1 build? is that still not official? his pc will be put back on meter connection though cause he does not like the idea of auto updates/download on home being done, he already the other week he turn on his pc to find it was back to state it was when he first bought it 4 months ago upon boot. and then when he came home later that night it was back to way it was, which was with all the stuff he had installed over last 4 months

Clean install 1809 (1809 just got an update as we speak).

After that use wpd.app to disable the updates, i dont think your uncle needs 1903.
