Yeah, know LTSBs purpose, just couldnt see much point for regular users to be on it.
Sorry to hear about your dog, I lost my girl pit a couple of weeks ago and I'm a huge dog lover still hurts.
Windows 10 1709 Fall Creators x64 .... Hey guys is this build OK, stable ect.? Haven't used 10 yet but I'm going to be building a new Ryzen rig here soon and I have access to this 1.
Anybody that can chime in here? I'm updating to 17134.5 and figure I will try one of these new driver sets. I'm leaning towards the Vulkan driver as I have had good experiences with them in the past.
Tested both and currently using the Vulkan driver which appears to perform slightly better.
No bloat, stable, that's why I run it, and no 6 month 'feature' upgrades adding more useless bloat
LTSB 2016 = Win 7 of Win 10's
I just installed that Cumulative update too. I don't think they'll change the version from 1803 to 1804.
I actually tried both of them and didn't like either. Just lower fps and api overhead was worse too. 391.35 is the best for me.
Interesting. I'm on 391.35 right now after updating to 17134.5, so maybe I'll wait for the next WDDM2.4 driver to come out before switching. Thanks for the input.
Well idk what would be the cause then, maybe because I manually enabled old picture viewer? I didn't do anything else there.
No clue either since i enabled the old photoviewer as well.
There is a wddm 2.4 driver, 397.40 whql which was released last week
How long is it until the update is expected to be available for normal via the Update Assistant?
WHQL is 397.31 actually. WDDM 2.4 yes.
(397.40 is the latest Vulkan dev. beta driver)
yeah my bad mate,, numbers always the numbers lol
10am Redmond time apparently, 5:40am there now
Alright buds, it's live now!
