It's only patch Tuesday for release channel, this is still 'officially' an insiders build, 17th is RTM day

Thought so, the only thing that updated was Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows Insider Preview and Server Technical Preview x64 - October 2017 (KB890830)

We're a week from official release date, they are surely taking their time updating the ISO Tool this time.

I don't know about you guys, but i'm getting two patches for this build. Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows Insider Preview and Server Technical Preview x64 - October 2017 (KB890830) and Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4041994). I haven't downloaded it yet, but i'll be sure to let you guys know about what comes after .15.

Yeah, it looks like an update from couple weeks ago and you are right it didn't change the build number at all either.

    Hmm.

My kids bought the new monopoly 3d game and after playing there was no taskbar and had to ctrl-alt-delete and reboot, now the system lags a bit

Chrome opens in about 2-3 secs now but was instant, same for task manager and control panel

    *edit*
actually control panel and file explorer take 2 clicks to load from the taskbar shortcut, click once and nothing happens no matter how long i wait and file explorer is the same

*edit again* now the taskbar is completely foobar, cant open start or click anything at all

Create your own bootable ISO's files Windows 10 Fall Creators Update RTM #Redstone_3: build /16299.15.rs3_release.170928-1534/ using MediaCreationTool.exe

    download files:
    1. http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-48C3-A25D-402F123676D3/MediaCreationTool.exe
    2. http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-4487-83DF-4241D2EA79F7/products_20171005.cab

    rename file products_20171005.cab to products․cab,
put file products․cab in the same folder where the file MediaCreationTool.exe
    and run MediaCreationTool.exe /selfhost
    save boot ISO ...

Have you updated to the latest wddm 2.3 drivers? 1709 was acting really weird without them for me too.

I think there was some kind of conflict in the registry because I ran ccleaner and after reboot it worked fine again

    just a bit odd

Final ISO is the same one you can make with the ESDs in the OP, there'll most likely be an update on release day or close to it, which will come through WU, but the build will still be the exact same one you can make today

Is it official and can I finally make the upgrade without having to perform a 2nd clean install upon the official release?
