You had defer set to delay and still got it pushed?
How many days did you have it set too?

FWIW: I waited to a long time but i am finding 1709 is running fine here.

i have it set to 180 days but never really stay missing for all those days, probably stay gone for month or 2 maybe 3 before it comes back,

At this point i just gona skip it and go to upcoming build on both at same time, well in theory that is what i gona do

It more of i dont feel like dealing with cause every "upgrade" build i did has always resulted in something going fubar and me needing to do a clean install on my pc to fix it and as result that always happening i have lil interest in do this every 6 months, and the other pc is just gona get upgrade and hope it works with out issue, when it got the 1703 build i got forced with out anyone noticing

1709 got pushed again to my system 9 days later time and same for dads pc, both were set to 180day defer, i guess I change the defer to 185 days to see it it reset defer, I use wushowhide again. on both systems.

Im not ready to do "upgrade" build or the clean install that bound to be needed after "upgrade"

I do have question thought wushowhide has always showed the following in hide
    Code:

Intel - other hardware - intel (r) watchdog timer driver (intel(r) wdt)

    Intel - other hardware - intel (r) xeon (r) e3 - 1200/1500 v5/v6 gen intel (r) core (tm) host bridge /dram registers - 191f

    Intel - other hardware - intel (r) xeon (r) e3 - 1200/1500 v5/v6 gen intel (r) core (tm) pcie controller (x16) - 1901

    Asmedia technology inc - usb -8/29/2016 1.16.38.1

    Intel - net 9/29/2017 12.17.8.7
This stuff was always there long before I started blocking driver installs but when I go in show/restore those are not listed there.

@tsunami231 wait for RS4 Official ISO and make a fresh install in all your systems? I think its worth it.

I've tried RS4 RTM and its very smooth.

Thing that sucks about Win 10 is that they made fresh installs more tedious by removing the Windows Easy Transfer option (as was in W7-8). At least then we could export settings, files, configurations, etc to help ease the task.

    apparntly the latest Micocode update

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4346084/kb4346084-intel-microcode-updates

cuase the Explorer to open to white window for split second then show it contents, soon as I remove the Microcode update it returned to being instant

    Also got CU update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4493464/windows-10-update-kb4493464

Which added some more protection from those " flaws" but I left that installed. and I will let the Microcode get install next time it pops up and see if the explorer start doing the above again?

But if Microcode or what ever is cause the explorer to just be white for split second then show it contents, there be some seriously bad coding going on imo.

from a gaming stand point I saw no diffrence
