the new beta driver from nvidia 169.01 fixes the low graphics problem for vista x64 users

 

Interesting. I'll give those a try and see if it helps with the other Vista issues.

While the new beta drivers do improve the speed a bit, The game still has a lot of issues on Vista.

Can't really understand Konami for not supporting what now seems to be Microsoft's best selling Operating System since Windows 95 (Look at Microsoft's stock price and earnings lately).

Mine still craps out to. I'm just leaving this game until 3rd party modders change names and the am bug is fixed (by someone hopefully.

 

driver change didn't sort it for me either, not able to play above 740x whatever...

 

for those who found the new beta drivers have not fixed issue have you also installed the directx november update

i have installed both and am now able to select the highest graphics and my correct res 1920X1200

this is for the demo btw

 

but doesnt work for the full release,you need to download kitserver for it to work but still cant get 1900/1200 on mine

 

I'm also seeing the settings issue. It seems to be isolated to Vista, obviously enough.
The game keeps asking me for the difficulty i want everytime i run it. If i go and manually load the system data again, It's fine. Other data (Master League settings) works fine too.

Demo had no such issue.

 

just wish i could set it to 1900/1200 in res only goes upto 1600/1050

 

Try running the game as administrator, right click the game executable and select run as administrator. It might help.

 

I've tried the obvious things (run as admin, XP SP2 mode, etc) - None seem to matter. The files are written to the right location (Users\USERNAME\Documents\KONAMI) but it still wont load them by default. Another messup of KONAMI's? no idea.

 

i dont think you who own full game need to worry

if nvidias latest beta fixed the demo issues then im sure the next beta driver will fix the full release issues

it is obviously a driver issue and NOT a vista issue

 

Well, It seems like all the people with issues here are Vista owners. Maybe I'm wrong though.

 

guys,i have the original game but i use the crack .exe to play without the dvd but the kitserver 7 doesn´t work with that exe and i have the vist 64 + 4gb ram problem so i can´t change my setings.
if someone finds a kitserver that works with the cracked .exe please post here.

there is a kitserver 7d out now, ive done the same and it works for me,better than having to put disk in all the time,
