What gets me is that they haven't even acknowledged the damn crashes yet. It's been 3 weeks now. I'm a patient guy, but come on..

Some of you guys still getting the browser crashes on these? I have not tried these yet. 352.86 was terrible on my rig. 353.06 is running alright.

And yet 352.86 are fine for me, no browser crashes or TDR's.

Anything over that I can't play Witcher 3 at all.

You'll find these just like the 353.06 .... occasional "driver stopped working" error when using the browser but it recovers. No crashes in any games (Witcher 3 included).

I don`t have any problems with 353.06. Just the 352.86 set. Worst driver I ever installed.

Just installed these on top of 352.06 and noticed that in global settings in Nvidia Control Panel that everything was set to how I had it.

But for some reason VSYNC was set to "ON"!????

I never ever ever set VSYNC to "ON" in global and now never use it seen as I have a GSYNC monitor and just set GSYNC to on in control panel.

353.06 didn't give me any browser crashes and I'll try the hotfix tonight.

I had the same problem when installing 353.06 that Vsync got enabled. Like you I have to turn it off due to G-sync monitor.

When you use GSYNC (at least before the .06) driver, your V-SYNC is actually set to ON. When the monitor hits the monitor maximum refresh it syncs your frames.
As of the new .06 and this .12 driver you can now optionally turn VSYNC OFF with GSYNC meaning that your framerate will not be capped to your refresh rate and so if uncapped by software could fly well above your maximum refresh. This may eliminate any input lag associated with VSYNC kicking in when you are hitting your refresh cap with GSYNC but it will of course introduce some tearing (how noticeable it is will be up to you).

I personally prefer the method of leaving GSYNC in its standard VSYNC ON mode and capping my framerate to 135 (144hz monitor refresh) using MSI afterburner. This eliminates any input lag associated with hitting the refresh cap. It is best to cap more than a few frames under since these values can fluctuate.

Reading the changes you guys did I thought about trying these drivers again.
Fresh install nothing changes besides Physx set to GPU, I get a TDR.

But then I setup the Witcher 3's profile different:

TDR's stopped, and game is playable.
    Strange.

No reason to update from 353.06 unless you're running G-SYNC ?

Strange enough this set is giving me a real boost in performances in FC4 surround, i have the same test bed as lately, and it is way more, noticeably smoother.
And even if one doesn't play benchmarks they too have like 800Pts more for 3DM11 and about the same on 3DMARK Fire Strike Ultra.

GTAV in surround is also smoother.

I did a "genuine" clean install over the previous hotfix ones (353.06) tested recently.

So far so good, even better :D

Edit: i have Iiyama's ips monitors, so no G-Sync involved

If you dont have gsync there is no point in this driver. It will give you nothing more than the 353.06 one. Not to say you wont suddenly find all sorts of cures and mysterious improvements from it, but I can get that from re-installing same driver at times.

That is what i think yes and i am surprised to see a boost in smoothness meanwhile, i must have done something wrong in my previous installation then.
