Naw I heard him alot... and regardless where I'm from I do know what i"m talking about. Here is a link from stuff that came right from him talking smack last year. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/bigten/0-3-257/Ohio-State-s-Pryor-looks-for-payback-this-fall.html He is not a leader by no means..he may have learned a little from last year but nobody can convince me that he can lead a team of OSU's caliber much like how Tebow did with Florida or even be half of Tebow.
Few players who've ever set foot on a college field would be held in the same regard as Tebow when it comes to leadership. That's a terrible argument. As much as people love to hate the guy, he was truly one of a kind.
I understand, it's seemingly just such an extreme example. Pryor was still pretty young last year, in his defense.
The thing with Pryor is, he's most dangerous when he has to add lib. I'm not rushing to his defense, because I was one of the most outspoken fans against him.His mechanics are wrong, his knowledge of the OSU offense is limited, and his arm is weak. His problems were compounded by a piss poor offensive line. That said, I saw improvement and growth. He was able to lead, and his potential was crystal clear.By seasons end, at the Rose Bowl, he seemed pretty complete. If his O line improves, he will improve, and if it hasn't, he'll wing it- and like I said, he'll be dangerous. Thankfully, Tressel is an amazing coach, so he'll have a game plan to suit both his strengths, and his weaknesses. It's looking like OSU seeded at # 2, and the stat keepers are smarter than me, so I'll go with it, and love it. OSU has been a dominant team for a long time now, and for that I'm thankful.I'd still be a loyal fan if they were a bad team,as I am with Oakland in the NFL, but thank God that time isn't now :nerd:
When have they ever not been dominant? Even the Cooper and Bruce years were pretty damned good except for a couple years. I think Iowa is like 14-45-3 all time against you bastages. It's like you're cheering for the Yankees, and everyone else is the Cubs.
Well guys, we are almost in August and the start of the Fall Season is upon us!! Here is a highlight of last year of a game I was at that was one of the best I've seen...just amazing!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mV0hz0fomM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJx17nVZs7g I hope to see this years VT vs Boise St be just as good with the same ending - VT WINNING BIG!! GO HOKIES!!!
A sad day Buckeye, and/or Oakland Raider fans. In my case, both, and one of my heroes passed away. R.I.P. Jack Tatum, "The Assassin" Recruited to OSU as a running-back,It was actually assistant coach Lou Holtz who recognized Tatum should be a line backer. Met him a couple times, and when my wife was preggers,I asked him to put his National Championship ring on her belly and help make me a Buckeye.....He started rubbing it, and said " Sorry, there's a little girl in there"
Two Trailers to the HOTTEST CFB Action to come this year!!! Be Sure to really watch them both..they are very well done!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL9-sFAdrSI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-rQ0-a4Cgg

Have you tried the Scout message boards? There's always someone on the OSU boards offering DVD's, i'm sure there's someone on the VT boards who would at least give you a lead.
Even though I am an Iowa fan, if you ask me Iowa shouldn't be lower than 8th (what the finished last year), but overall polls mean jack and should even exist until at least 5-6 games into the season. Four at minimum.
I agree ... pre-season rankings are only for hype and I blame the media for this. Take for example Boise St vs Virginia Tech LaborDay night... #5 vs #6 ESPN knew what they were doing when they set this up.. it also really pissed off alot of fans - I'm a fan and I'm going to the game but it was supposed to happen in October NOT LaborDay!!! Many reasons I could come up with why this game shouldn't have been moved... 1. Teams are not prepared as good (no practice games prior to a large one like this) 2. Travel on that day and the day after to get home will be a nightmare!!! 3. Prices for everything are just sky high plus its really damn hot to tailgate! 4. Did I mention getting around in that area will be insane from the vacation traffic?????? 5. And last, having it on Labor Day night will cause me to miss work day after when before it was setup on a Saturday like it should have been here and not on Labor day!!
Ok I found the video I was looking for on DVD but its sold by the Huskers video site for $20 and it has audio from the radio they have so not the version I want.. I want either the Hokies radio version with the video or the ESPN version.. I'd prefer the ESPN version so does anyone know if ESPN sells copies of their past games on say DVD?
