With 1680x1050 res and all settings maxed i got min 4.9 max 22.1 avg 13.5 thats with the latest beta drivers 158.45 when i turn off super sample i get min 14.4 max 42.7 avg 23.8 we need to agree a setting if we are going to compare but slick its not and doesnt look good for dx10 with this kind of performance sofar. With shadow quality set to normal 2 and supersampling and multi sampling off it runs much better and looks just as good to my eyes and scores min 19.5 max 77.8 avg 43 after some more runs i find its the multi sampling and and super sampling that seem to kill the fps so with them turned off i set x16 af and x16q aa in nvidia cp i got min19.5 max 80.2 and avg 42.8

LOL =) You can just make a printscreen by pressing prt scr or something like that on your keyboard and then paste ( ctrl + v ) the image in Paint :)

    Good luck  !

If you wanna compare, use same settings as others. Topic start lacks information / purpose.

How about everyone uses this settings to compare:

    Resolution: 1280x1024
    Shadow map size: 2048x2048
    Shadows Quality: high
    Anti-aliasing: 2xMSAA

    Audio: Enable
    Fullscreen: Enable

    min: 15.7
    max: 59.5
    average: 27.6

    I'll make a photo tomorrow.
I'd say, not bad for a benchmark that is from a TWIMTBP game. :knock:

I ran the benchmark and scores 16.1 FPS average, then installed the newest directx 9/10 update (6/9/07) from microsoft and my average was 11.7 FPS at the same settings. Anyone else have this happen? Then I rebooted and my average was 9 FPS... should I restore to the older directx?

Settings were 1920x1200 with everything high except no AA.

    min: 10.2
    max: 23.8
    average: 14.2

So basically, my GTS 320 can't play Juarez in Directx 10 :(

Ofcourse you can. Just this settings are very high. Shadow maps are really extreme. Put those lower and you got playable framerate.

That is nice. I Am sure new drivers will increase performance.

The more intense HDR, smooth Edge vegation, Complex shaders on tree and geometry shader on waterfall passed your eyes?

ive seen better looking demo's of farcry in dx9 than this demo.
i noticed the very subtle image tweeks but i am not impressed with this supposed next gen benchie.
i even think the nv head demo is better than cascades.

It's not, in fact it is more an Ati optimized game.
(No Nvidia logo to be seen, which can't be said of Ati's...)

It's strange because the origional game was twimtbp. Why did they optimize it for ATI?

Btw for 2900 owners, the ruby demo is released on ati.amd.com for download.

No, even fraps can't make screenshots. Kinda dumb for a benchmark..

That's kinda weird if you run it with lower details and get less than the guy above. Does quadcore benefit here?
