These drivers are the best so far.

    TESTED:
    ______________

bf2142: Perfect: no artifacts, runs smooth as a knife through butter and maxing at 100fps non-stop (ingame 1600x1200, monitor default 1280x1024x100hz, ingame v-sync on, so its obvious frame rates can't get any higher)

Dark messiah of M&M: Good: No strange artifacts, framerate can be better, varies between 60-80fps, settings ingame all high and FSAA@8x, no v-synch

C&C3: Perfect: only tried on 1280x1024 and runs smooth, no frames recorded as i deleted the game after losing 3 games in a row..lol :p, but if i remember it was also around 80fps, further settings were all at max and FSAA@8x

Tital Quest& expansion: Perfect: Same as bf2142, ingame all settings @ max

Guild Wars: Perfect: Same as above but framerates around 97fps

    STILL NEED TO BE TESTED:
    _________________________

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Was around 45-50fps so im curious what it will do with these drivers, ingame all settings @ max..expecting no dramatic changes

Rainbow Six Vegas: ingame 1600x1200 was always around 60-80fps with all settings @ max, so i wonder what it'll do with these drivers..expecting no dramatic changes
EDIT: @ raisers, here below: When i read your comment i started to doubt if i was right, so i checked and must say that you are totally right.. ingame resolution is 1280x960 (i have no option in between this resolution and 1600x1200, where the latter is the max i can set), v-sync off, the rest of the options on or high.. framerate jumping between 40-80fps depending on the area and lighting, but average around 65fps with the new drivers.. thanks for the heads up :)

Be back later with more info

    Cheers, Ramses

I have 8800GTS + Core2duo E6400 @ 3.15 GHz, 97.92 driver. If i put all the video settings at max (specially shadows) @ 1200x1024 vsync off i get extreme slowdowns - to lower than 30fps at some points which ruins the game. How do you keep it always at 60-80 fps is beyond me and i don't believe that to be truth. If i put shadows to low or very low then the game plays smoothly with fps above 40 averaging cca 80 but definately not ALL THE TIME with ALL SETTINGS MAXED!

Well exactly what are you waiting for? Maybe there is a point at which the drivers are so good there really isn't anything new to add? There haven't been any major game releases in the last half a year (BF2142 was probably the last). Both my 6800GT and my 7600GS run just fine with no problems at all. If you are having problems you better be 100% sure that its the driver. Driver developers cannot fix problems that do not exist or that are caused by something other than the driver itself.

The Geforce 8 series has some serious BSOD issues, hopefully these are driver related. Monitor scaling also remains completely broken and will not save any settings, even custom ones. Those are the things I want fixed, I don't care about new features personally.

Well I don't know, you tell me what's wrong with this picture. First score is lowest, second is average, and third is highest.

My system should've beaten most of those, yet it was dead last. I am with L33t Masta on this, where the hell are the real SLI drivers?
